Thresholds
Minimum sales & streaming thresholds required for each tier, by country. Numeric values represent unit equivalents (streams + downloads + physical sales combined). Stream-based entries show the threshold directly.

Notes
- Only certifications from regions with a database of certified titles are considered
- In Switzerland, certifications are not awarded by an umbrella body but instead by individual music labels, so the list on hitparade.ch does not represent a complete record of all certifications issued. https://www.swisscharts.com/edelmetall#:~:text=In%20Switzerland%2C%20precious,awarding%20these%20awards%20
